Fundraiser for Nature's Nursery - Bats! - starting at $50 per project. ($10 per project will be donated to the cause!) - Reservations available or walk-ins welcome as space allows. - Saturday, October 4th 10-6 (meet and greet the rescue animals from 10-2) - Ages 4-Adult - Approx. 60 mins (creating time will vary) - Allow 7 days for completed project to be ready for pick-up We are creating for a cause! We are hosting a fundraiser with Nature's Nursery. Nature’s Nursery Center for Wildlife Rehabilitation and Conservation Education is a non-profit organization located in Whitehouse, Ohio. They provide medical care to injured, orphaned or ailing wild animals, and conduct conservation educational outreach programs for children and adults. Help us make a difference and join us for a good cause and a good time creating at Copper Moon! We will have two ambassadors visiting from 10-2 that day, Suzanne and Kristin. Suzanne, a beautiful corn snake was donated to the rescue in 2019. And Kristin the Big Brown Bat who got attacked by a cat, suffering an irreparable tear. Animals like these are kept as educators at the rehab. The feature project for this fundraiser will be a bat design - available as a suncatcher ($50) or garden stake ($55). Design your bat using our "Lil Chips"' of colored fused glass, like an abstract puzzle or mosaic, and then we melt it together with a kiln. *no payment required for reservations, payment will be accepted once your project is completed.
