Glass Totem - Fused Glass Class

Service Description

A totem tells a story about connection. A connection to your spiritual side. Your community. Your ancestors. It signifies belonging and identity. So what story will your totem tell? Get creative with fused glass in this class. Minimal cutting required, and a few extra fun ingredients to play with: dichroic scraps (sparkly shiny glass that EVERYONE loves), glass pot-melt stones (one-of-a-kind stones formed from molten glass), "stringer-stones" (geometric striped stones) and a WAZER shape of your choice (intricate and lots of designs precut for you to choose from) - plus bubbledots, liquid glass, stringers, and, of course, colorful sheet glass. We will focus on simple shapes and patterns to fill this looonnnnggg and skinny totem-style suncatcher. Learn the basics of fused glass and glass cutting, with an experienced instructor to guide you along the way! *Hand strength and dexterity is important in this class for proper tool usage. Approx. 2 - 3.5 hour sessions.
