Impressionistic Sunset in Acrylic - Sip and Paint - Instructor, Mary Jane Erard - $65 per person - Sun, 2/15 (1:00pm-4:00pm) - Mature teens and adults welcome - 12” x 12” canvas - BYO a beverage to sip if you like! Sip & Paint with your Valentine or bring your friends and enjoy your Galentines! Create your escape with local talent, Mary Jane Erard. Mary Jane is an accomplished artist and educator in the Toledo area and we are so excited to be hosting a class for you all to come try! This course is a 3 hour session that will explore acrylic painting, with a focus on the impressionistic style of painting for vibrant and expressive strokes. You will learn how: - to manipulate acrylic on canvas to create an impressionistic Sunset Painting. - and when to layer color for maximum impact, and learn some color theory is employed in this technique. - to create depth with color and bold strokes. - Students can use their own photos or pictures provided in class - all supplies included In addition to these techniques the class will learn from each other how each student approached their process to create a successful painting. Your instructor will demonstrate techniques prior to each student creating their own painting. As much help will be given as each student as needed. Refunds allowed with minimum 72 hours notice.
